Michael Sullivan joins DSA board

NDIS brings positive change but falls short in key areas
Down Syndrome Australia’s 2018 national survey has found people with Down syndrome and their families are receiving more support than ever before, thanks to the National Disability Insurance Scheme. However, there are problems with access to the scheme and the level of knowledge about Down syndrome.

The DSA survey on NDIS experiences has provided some very useful insights into how the NDIS is working for people with Down syndrome and their families.
